Introduction- This story takes place in a state called Oceania. The main character types introduced are Winston Jones who is a worker using one of the several branches of presidency on Oceania. This several branches will be " The Ministry of Truth" where they falsificate or remove all previous documents just like books, newspapers, magazines, documents, tapes and anything made up of information about the past and are rewritten with the " accurate" that means of whatever the Government (known as " Big Brother" ) wishes it being. All previous records are erased and everyone must believe that what the new ones say or else they are caught by Thought Law enforcement officials. The Thought Law enforcement officials are a group of modern people who find themselves like the law enforcement of our period except that this police can see you each second you will ever have through exceptional devices that look like To. V. 's called Telescreens. This Telescreens are placed inside the houses of individuals, outside properties, parks, wall space, anywhere they could be put and are always started up. The Telescreens are continuously giving you info of the battles won and in addition telling you how to proceed and always observing every motion you do, no expressions happen to be admitted in Oceania apart from hatred and also the one " Big Brother" tells you to. The second part is called " The Ministry of Love" where everyone was punished, tormented and were taught to hate each other. The third department is called " The Ministry of Plenty" where monetary affairs had been handled, they will decided who got simply how much of something almost always becoming too little of your ration. The final branch is known as " The Ministry of Peace" which handled every one of the war affairs such as where next blast they released would strike and who they necessary to destroy following. Big Brother had a slogan that read " WAR CAN BE PEACE", " FREEDOM CAN BE SLAVERY" and " IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH". Winston worked well in the Ministry of real truth where he's job was to rewrite the news on the paper called Instances. Another character is O'Brien who will help Winston love Big Brother...
