When studying the literary works, " The Road Not really Taken”, Frost, R(1916) and " I Used to Live Here”, by Rhys, J. (1976), it's noticed that the two will be compare and contrast as well. The similarities are there but the differences stick out even more.

The moment reading " The Road Not really Taken”, the author makes it very easy to be active in the poem like it may be a life connection with the reader. Not merely by examining and understanding it although by using your imagination to place you in to the situation he has drafted. Thinking of a moment or place where a hard decision needs to be made. Will you make that decision and go with this or do you above analyze this and choose the more obvious decision? It can be a hard destination for a be in. The proverbial shell in the street.

Frost points out how having been faced at a cross road. " Two roads diverged in a yellow solid wood, And apologies I could certainly not travel both And be one particular traveler, lengthy I stood” (Frost, 1916). Using the metaphors given, " Two highways diverged”(Frost, 1916) the reader may put themselves in the place of a dilemma. What do I chose since the right path? If you can relate this with a life encounter you have currently faced or something you could have thought about before, this gives you a place in the poem. The outcomes of each road had been quite just like each other. This provides you with him a feeling of relief and security. This kind of gave him the pleasure and ease he needed to feel the proper choice has been made, all things considered he could have gone down the other highway.

The author gives us a feeling of relief by the statement of, " I actually shall be sharing with this having a sigh. ”, (Frost, 1916) by appearing like he can okay with the choice he made. Whether this is certainly a exacto road or possibly a life changing " path” used. The image provided here shows us that he is content on the road he chose and gaining ease and comfort ability. A person making a life altering choice and will relax being aware of it was a fantastic decision.
