GPS UNIT:
The Global Situation System (GPS) was developed by the United States' Department of Defense; decide data for the surface from the earth by satellites applying longitude and latitude runs and elevation, which operate 24 hours a day, in all of the types of weather. There are three types of segments for this program which are: space segment, control segment and user segment.
Examples:
1- GPS help to forest hearth determination. 2- GPS use for earthquake region detection.
GIS:
GIS Geographic Data System (GIS) is defined as: - Computer system incorporate the spatial information then store them and analyze them that enables to obtain information to get specific focuses on and help in decision-making. - A mix of scientific research (Geography), details systems and modern software program technologies. This system consists of: Software, hardware, particular people, spatial data and method, every single component has specific function. The Software is crucial part and it is defined as courses that perform various analytical processes. The hardware is described as it is a computer system or any different devices and one of them can be quite a GPS unit. Spatial data is all the info related to the location or place on the earth.
Case:
Use GIS in overall health services although GIS help the Centre for Diseases Control (CDC) to look for the epidemic illnesses areas all over the world and control those illnesses, so the CDC can notify about illnesses through the net.
