The type of courage featured in the quotation above can be moral bravery. " Actual courage" is shown through the image of Mrs Dubose, a morphine should be who wished to overcome her addiction prior to she passed away.
Mrs Dubose was a repugnant, bedridden and a very ill woman whom have been taking morphine as a painkiller, prescribed by doctors, for a long time. However , ahead of she passed away, she wished to overcome her addiction to morphine as the lady wanted to pass away " beholden to absolutely nothing and nobody". As an old and ill woman, the girl had every right to continue taking morphine so as to " make issues easier" to get herself on her last few several weeks and no one would have blamed her if she got wanted to keep the world in narcotic bliss. However , the lady was really headstrong and she decided to follow her principles is to do what the girl felt was right, no matter how impossible or painful it had been.
